Mood Boards and Pinterest (Makeup)

Makeup is very important in a fashion shoot as even if the clothing, lighting and model are perfect if the makeup is not the images will not look good and the image will fall apart. To begin with I was going to have very different makeup for each shoot to show a variety of different styles. To begin with I was going to have bright, bold and colourful makeup for the colour shoot, bold but natural makeup for the interior shoot and natural makeup for the on location and high key light shoot.

However as time went on and I researched more into the genre of fashion photography my idea on the makeup changed. This happened because I wanted to concentrate on the clothing, model and lighting and I did not want the makeup to distract the viewers from what I was trying to sell and that is spring/summer clothing. By doing this I hope I will be able to show the clothing in the best light and for the makeup to be natural and not centre stage. Though I want to do natural makeup for all shoots this will be different depending on the model and what will suit them best this means that the makeup could be different colours etc depending on the model and what I think works best.
